Who we are…

We are an open and welcoming community of outdoors people, passionate about all forms of running, especially on our fantastic and world class local trails.

We’ve been meeting and running around Boulder, Colorado and beyond since 2013. We are a large group, catering to a broad range of abilities and focus on social runs to promote community, volunteerism, racing and more.

Our members are welcoming, social, humble, kind, interesting, passionate and most of all fun! We love running with others and fostering a large and engaging, in-person community where we get to spend quality time enjoying the outdoors while chatting, laughing and being healthy.

We’ve been a large part of the trail running community in the United States for well over a decade and you can see our members representing at numerous races around the USA and beyond, proudly donning their RMR green shirts.

We have many new faces join each week and take great pleasure in welcoming both old and new to the running community of Boulder.

Outside of our regular runs our members get together for ad-hoc runs, social outings, races and other adventures.

 FAQs

  • We are a large group covering a wide range of abilities. Our average runner is typically already comfortable running on the trails and has some background in running. Our Monday night run summits Green mountain which is a 2,500ft climb on rough technical trails and so isn’t typically suited to beginners. We usually ascend in 1h15m and descent in 45m for a 2h round trip as a gauge of pace. Our Weds morning runs are typically on the lower trails around the flatirons, usually anywhere from 5 to 8 miles and we aim to finish by 7:30am so folks can get to work on time!
