How long have you been a runner? I’ve been running off and on for 14+ years. Trail running with friends was basically the best part of living and running in Montana.

Happiest running moment: Running the Great River Relay with the Macalester XC Mens team in 2007. So much fun, sleep loss, Wisconsin fireworks, good food, and huge efforts made by all 12 runners/friends.

Proudest running accomplishment: Sub 27 8K.

Favorite local running route: Gregory Canyon – Flagstaff, with backside of Sanitas becoming a close second.

Favorite distance: 5k & 10k. I know, so short!

Favorite race: Fort Collins Peach Festival 5k.

If you could lace up your shoes and go for a run anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Grandma’s House, Rocky Point, Polson, Montana, USA

Goals: 1) To immerse myself (in a financially-stable way) in the world of chocolate production, either as a chocolatier or food scientist.
2) Keep running trails.

When I’m not running I’m… Making chocolates, working on electronics projects, or playing Starcraft.

Uphills or Downhills? Uphills, uphills, always up. My knees hate me on the downhill.

Favorite post-run beer: Ginger beer. I am a total lightweight when it comes to alcohol!

I am a Rocky Mountain Runner because… The other RMR runners, that sweet green shirt, the gelato, and the mountains!
