Personal Motto/Inspiration: Chase anything that moves.
How long have you been a runner? I started running ever since I moved to Boulder two year ago. I wanted to be… a lumberjack!
Happiest running moment: Every time I find some fresh poop to smear all over my face. So refreshing!
Proudest running accomplishment: Chasing my 1000th career squirrel up a tree. Hey! Squirrel! We don’t take kindly to your type around here.
Favorite local running route: My own secret bushwhacking route up Green Mountain.
Favorite distance: I have no limits. Bring it! Though my trendy red sports bra does start to chafe after awhile…
Favorite race: I’ve yet to make my race debut, but am training to claim the Jelm Mountain Run course record this September.
If you could lace up your shoes and go for a run anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Uh, have you read Born to Run? My name is Barefoot Summit.
Dreams: That one day, my doggie grandchildren* will be free to roam all trails without being subjected to the disgusting discrimination and segregation that my fellow pooches experience today. * Editor’s note: Summit is spayed and will not be having any pups.
When I’m not running I’m… Sleeping.
Uphills or Downhills? It’s all way too easy for me.
Favorite post-run beer: I’m only 3 years old…
I am a Rocky Mountain Runner because… I have no choice in the matter!
