Personal Motto: Be the best version of yourself, better than yesterday.

How long have you been a runner? Started running on a whim 4 years ago and got hooked immediately. My passion evolved into trail running after training for and running my first ultra.

Happiest running moment: Besides finishing my first ultra, I was very happy to run for nearly 6 hrs straight – injury free – during a race with little training.

Proudest running accomplishment: Finishing JFK50 in 8:15:21 and doing so before the sun set.

Favorite local running route: Haven’t quite found one yet, but the Dowdy Draw trailhead does inspire some long runs.

Favorite race: Western States. Haven’t run it yet, but allured by its history and stacked field every year.

If you could lace up your shoes and go for a run anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Grand Canyon

Goals: To successfully finish WS100.

When I’m not running I’m… thinking about running and following baseball religiously.

Uphills or Downhills? Love downhills. Learning to love uphills, though I don’t hate them.

I am a Rocky Mountain Runner because… they help push me outside my comfort zone for training.

Betcha didn’t know that…I have a parrotlet named Oliver.
