How long have you been a runner? Started running and ran first marathon in 2005. Love trail running because of the variety of movement and it allows me to explore new and amazing places.

Happiest running moment: Finishing my first 100 miler at the Old Dominion in 2006 at 2:30am with no fanfare or aid at the finish line and then laying on the floor at 7-11 drinking orange juice and eating a microwaved cheeseburger.

Proudest running accomplishment: Running the NYC marathon 5 straight years with by friend Dave Fraser who has Cerebral Palsy and goes backwards in a wheelchair; pushing off with his toes. The race takes anywhere from 9-12 hours.

Favorite local running route: Beaver Brook Trail, Golden, CO

Favorite distance: My legs say the marathon but my heart says the 100 miler

Favorite race: No experience can compare to the NYC Marathon!

Goals: To survive

If you could lace up your shoes and go for a run anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Harriman State Park, NY & Canyonlands National Park, UT

When I’m not running I’m… volunteering to buildĀ Achilles International in Colorado

Uphills or Downhills? Always prefer uphills.

Favorite post-run beer: Guinness

I am a Rocky Mountain Runner because… it’s great having the comradery of a team; cohesive all inclusive teams are lacking in Colorado.
