How long have you been a runner? I’ve been a runner since about 8th grade. I had asthma as a young kid which kept me out of sports until I outgrew it. I’ve lived in the Yorkshire Dales in England several years ago. In the Dales, there are so many trails where you run through old villages and farms and up and down dales. Plus there’s nothing like an English Bitter and a pub lunch after a good run! But I’m just getting back into trail running and now can’t get enough of them!
Happiest running moment: Way too many happy running moments. That’s why I run!
Proudest running accomplishment: My fastest marathon, the Munich Marathon, was only 2 weeks after another marathon. I was told that I was crazy if I did these so close together, but it worked.
Favorite local running route: I like anything and everything around the Flatirons.
Favorite race: All of them are favorites – even the ones I’ve bombed.
If you could lace up your shoes and go for a run anywhere in the world right now, where would you go? Austria or Switzerland.
When I’m not running I’m… I’m a space geek so I enjoy spending my nights looking at the stars.
Favorite post-run beer: Almost any beer is good post-run but most of the time I prefer a stout.
I am a Rocky Mountain Runner because… I love running with fun people who enjoy this as much as I do.
