We are lucky to not only live in a beautiful place but also be part of an amazing community of people.

Coaching / Trail Running Camps

While the Rocky Mountain Runners group is not a coached running program and does not organize any guided running camps, we do have several RMRs who, independently, offer coaching and/or training programs:
Single Track Explorers
Single Track Explorers: Mountain Running Camp Join RMRs Sage Canaday, Hillary Allen, Ryan Lassen & Silke Koester this summer for an awesome mountain running camp! Run some of the best mountain trails in the Rockies, participate in specialized running clinics and get a lot of product swag from camp sponsors.
Sage Running Learn from the best with RMRs Sage Canaday & Sandi Nypaver!
ASTP Coaching RMR Adam St. Pierre is an exercise physiologist and experienced ultrarunner and nordic skier.
Boulder Acusport RMR Ginna Ellis is a licensed acupuncturist and the owner of Boulder Acusport. She specializes in treating running injuries, especially plantar fasciitis, ITB syndrome, patello-femoral syndrome, Achilles tendinopathy, ankle sprains, and glute imbalances. Ginna’s treatment style blends triggerpoint and motorpoint therapy with traditional acupuncture. It is like dry needling, but less painful, and it is particularly effective at speeding the healing of current injuries while addressing the underlying imbalances precipitating the injury. Ginna helps the Rocky Mountain Runners recover faster, train harder, sleep better, and increase resilience to future injuries!

RMR off the trails

The RMR community expands beyond the trails:
For the most perfect post-run recovery treat make sure you swing by RMR Bryce Licht’s incredibly delicious gelato & coffee shop, Fior di Latte, on the Pearl Street Mall. Bryce and his wife handmake all of the gelato every day using the freshest ingredients and collaborating with local farmers and breweries for delicious flavors. Be sure to check out Fior di Latte on Facebook too for some mouthwatering photos of the day’s specials.

Volunteer Opportunities

Here are just a few of the local volunteer opportunities that RMR participates in:
Achilles Colorado is part of the International organization which is dedicated to helping people with disabilities participate in mainstream sports. Learn to guide athletes in their training and in local running races and events. Join the weekly group runs in Denver on Monday’s at 6pm (at Wash Park). Or reach out to RMRs Silke Koester or Mike Oliva for more details or to connect with an Achilles athlete in your community.
Boulder OSMP trail rebuilding volunteer opportunities are posted here.
